Asma Hamid, Andy Rattley, Ben James, Darren Saunders, Malgorzata Kurowska, Daniel Laranjeira | Condiments & Sauces Lived Value: Teamwork Nominated By: Jerry Forskitt Finding the perfect partner can be a challenge. For the Condiments & Sauces division, a strategic decision was made to appoint a new supplier who aligned to core business values while offering impeccable customer service at a fifixed cost. The transition required managing the stock and migration of 3,500 pallets to a new 3PL provider over a 3-week period. During this process engagement with the division’s three largest business customers surpassed all expectations. Customer service levels were recorded at over 99% with a seamless transition achieved through the efforts of a focused, cross functional team delivering a robust plan. A great achievement! Team | Group Communications Lived Value: Teamwork and Performance Nominated by: Kellie-Ann Hoey The Group Communications team developed a new Group wide Larder accessible to all Operating Divisions. Collectively, the team took ownership of the project, conducting extensive research to establish requirements linked to the site’s functionality, the nature of information that key stakeholders were keen to access and security aspects. Working in partnership with an external web company to create in excess of 115 pages of content, robust test processes were also implemented with IS prior to the launch. Post ‘go live’ issues were minimal and there has been a reduction in daily queries regarding policy documentation, logos and templates which are now readily available on the Larder. Overall the project has been an incredible success due to the skill and dedication of the team. Angela Casey & Ann Moore | Standard Brands Lived Value: Initiative Nominated by: Gerry Gilfedder Angela and Ann identifified an issue with seasonal employee’s tax resulting in some employees being deducted large amounts of tax for a number of weeks. Without being prompted, this duo used their initiative and worked over the Bank Holiday weekend to ensure employees affected had their wages corrected. Further investigation highlighted that the problem lay with the tax offifice and as a result of Angela and Ann’s efforts the issue was resolved to everyone’s satisfaction. Thank you to Angela and Ann, both of whom exemplify our Initiative, Stronger Together and Teamwork values. Steve Gale | SHS GB Lived Value: Initiative Nominated by: Jason Shirlow Steve played a pivotal role during the MOQ launch in June. The new approach meant that for some larger customers who buy multiple brands had some challenges to overcome. To expedite the MOQ change Steve took the initiative and contacted the Supply Chain representatives at a major customer, as well as the buyers who are his day to day contacts. He explained the changes and benefifits to be derived. As a result Steve persuaded our customer to commit to migrating all SHS Ambient brand owners, WKD and Shloer onto one purchase order, meaning SHS now receives just one PO per delivery point for SHS Ambient SKUs. A fantastic outcome! Neil Scaife | SHS Sales and Marketing Ireland Lived Value: Initiative Nominated by: Michael Meneely Neil played an instrumental role in the setup of the Carambar account in Ireland. Using his initiative and experience, Neil worked closely with the brand owner and key business partners within SHS to ensure a smooth transition. All contractual requirements were conducted on time and to a high standard. Any issues which arose were dealt with swiftly which demonstrated a high level of capability on behalf of the SHS Ireland business and the SHS Group as a whole. In particular, Neil’s ability to establish the Terrys business whilst effectively working blind without previous trade pricing, is testament to his experience and tenacity. The successful on-boarding of the Carambar contract in such a short space of time and with minimal disruption demonstrates many of the SHS Spirit values including Responsibility, Teamwork and Performance. Quarterly Group Winner: Congratulations to our Quarter 3 winner, the Condiments & Sauces team. Working together, every member demonstrated one or more of our SPIRIT values.
