Gazelle Update Our Gazelle programme continues at pace with a number of key milestones achieved over the last few months. The Demand Planning tool has achieved ‘Go Live’ and the Drinks team are now using it to prepare data and algorithms to generate accurate forecasts. Revenue Management within Drinks has also progressed to ‘Go Live’ in November, with a slight delay allowing the team to better align the new solution with the Drinks annual budget process. Training took place throughout November with all sales teams and feedback was extremely positive, particularly around the quality of delivery and materials. To date over 1,900 promotions have been loaded on to the system as part of 2020 planning and the team has now moved into Hypercare supporting the business ahead of an Actuals ‘Go Live’ in January. To support changes to ways of working, the team has engaged with Department Heads in Drinks and Corporate Services to develop and cascade their change stories to their teams as they prepare for the ‘Go Live’ of the new solutions. In addition, weekly Line Manager updates to Drinks and Corporate Services have been rolled out to keep teams informed of developments and celebrate successes. Condiments & Sauces IBP implementation plan was moved forward and work with BPS teams on the design stage has been taking place over the last few months with ‘Go Live’ planned for Q2. Introducing BERT Over the last few months Group Communications and the Gazelle team have been working in partnership to visualise the Gateway into our new planning solutions post ‘Go Live’. In the same way that the Larder was named as part of our SAP programme, we wanted to give the new Gateway a meaningful, memorable and credible name. 6
