What are the areas that you cover in your
system?

Seieido is broken into 3 sections. The First
level consist of the Basic fundamentals. Stanc-
es, Movement skills, Pivots, Break falls, Rolls,
Blocks, Strikes, Kicks,
and 1-second Close
Quarter Threat
Elimination Skills.
The Second level
consist of Break-
ing of Holds, Joint
Locks, Escapes,
Throws,

Take-
downs, Basic
Ground submission
techniques, and the
combing of Levels
1&2. The Third
level consist of
Weapon Disarms,
Advanced Grap-
pling and Ground
control, Multiple
Opponent Defense
training, and the combining of Levels
1,2&3.
There are no colored belts. Once all three
levels are learned satisfactorily, a Black Belt is
awarded. Once 5th Degree is achieved, one is
referred to as an “Elite Master Instructor.” This
is also the level that is required to be named a
Country Director. I currently have Directors in
Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru,
and the USA.
