Once, as I was checking my facebook account I saw some photos
of a young American boy who had fought in Thailand and won a
Muay Thai combat; I thought it would be wonderful to bring his
story to the pages of Martial Science. Shortly after, I found myself
working on an article about Mr. Art Camacho who was incidentally in Las
Vegas teaching a seminar; I also found it a great opportunity to take some
photographs for the article on the magazine; so, I headed towards the
office where the event was scheduled; to my surprise, it was a Muay Thai
school, the same school where the young American boy had been trained.
In this manner, I met Master Airr, Master Monlit and the other members of
the Nak Muay Thai family in the U.S.A.
I have practiced several martial art styles my whole life, including contact
sports, such as: Kick Boxing and Full Contact; but, I had never tried Thai
Boxing until I met these great Thailand masters. It was then, that I got
conscious of the unique opportunity to get into the utmost world of
fighters I was having. Thus, I started to practice with them, so that some
time after, I could write about the experience I had on the fire of their
training sessions.
