  Key Off-takers
   § Fertiglobe is the largest producer of nitrogen fertilizer in the Middle East and North Africa with a combined production capacity of 6.5 million tons of urea and merchant ammonia.
§ It is a potential off-taker for ammonia for its EBIC (Egypt Basic Industries Corporation) and EFC (Egyptian Fertilizers Company) facilities in Egypt. It has entered into contract for green ammonia for its facility in al-Ruwais, UAE.
§ Mitsui is one of the largest general trading companies in Japan, engaged in trading of Oil & Gas, Iron & Steel and chemicals.
§ As part of its decarbonization strategy, Mitsui has been entering into strategic partnerships for production and trading of Green Hydrogen/Ammonia.
§ Yara International ASA is a Norwegian chemical company. Its largest business area is the production of nitrogen fertilizer; however, it also encompasses the production of nitrates, ammonia, urea and other nitrogen-based chemicals.
§ To meet CO2 reduction targets in fertilizer manufacturing and for general trading purpose, Yara is onboarding partners for supply of green ammonia.
§ JERA is a 50-50 JV between TEPCO fuel and power and Chubu Electric Power. It is Japan’s largest power generation company. Under its “JERA Zero CO2
Emissions 2050” objective, JERA has been working to reduce CO2 emissions from its domestic and overseas businesses to zero by 2050.
§ As part of this effort, JERA is working on a project to replace 20% of the fuel in its thermal power plants with Green Ammonia. JERA has recently floated tenders for 500,000 tons of ammonia per year.
§ It is one of the largest general trading companies in Japan. It has been adopted to “Green Innovation Fund Project”, a project publicly offered by New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), Japan.
§ Under its commitment Itochu will operate ammonia fueled ships for its trading operations.
§ It is the largest electric utility in South Korea. South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) announced ammonia coal co-combustion
will be operational in over half the country's coal-fired power generating units by 2030.
§ The government has already set a target of 13.8 - 21.5% of national power generation coming from hydrogen & ammonia-fed gas turbines by 2050. KEPCO has been entering into strategic partnerships for production and procurement of ammonia.
§ Trammo is a market leader in ammonia distribution and transportation, with nearly 60 years of experience.
§ Recently, it has been entering into agreements for offtake of green ammonia.
