Fancy Pineapple Kugel

          INGREDIENTS                                 DIRECTIONS
          1 (8 ounce) package wide egg noodles        Boil noodles in boiling salted water just until

          ½ cup white sugar                           Mix in sugar, crushed pineapple with juice,
          1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, with     vanilla, and cinnamon. Stir in the noodles.

           1 ¼ teaspoons vanilla extract              Place pineapple rings decoratively over the
          1 teaspoon ground cinnamon                  top. Place a cherry in the center of each ring
          1 (8 ounce) can sliced pineapple,           if desired.
          drained                                     Bake at 350° degrees F (175 degrees C) for
          ¼ cup candied cherries (optional)           50 minutes, or until golden.
