3D Carer Survey
The 3D Carer Survey supplies more detail on the number of “risky” carers (RED - only 1 in this home), “safe” carers (GREEN - 26 in this survey) and those carers who are sometimes “risky” and sometimes “safe”(AMBER - 4 in this case).
To enable care leaders to nip potential problems in the bud, the report supplies feedback on each carer’s morale, and state of stress. If a carer’s morale, reliability and stress are all poor in the same month, they merit special management attention.
Interestingly, one care home’s manager showed high stress for 3 months running. The 4th month she suffered from a nervous breakdown. She is now, once again, quite well.
As a consequence of that episode she is now quick to talk with stressed carers to help identify and address any concerns they may have when their profiles indicate they may merit it.
