Sequential Batch Reactors (SBR)
SBR
Sequential Batch Reactors primarily treat domestic wastewater for small to
medium sized communities.
The advantage of Sequential Batch Reactors (otherwise referred to as an SBR) is
within its small footprint.
SBR’s are designed to fill, mix, aerate, settle and discharge treated wastewater all
within a single tank.
This process eliminates the need for the extra space and cost of a Secondary
Clarifier.
