A couple of years from now our ambition is to be offering an original and innovative concept for cost effective, high quality
new-build Care Home properties, but today our emphasis is sharply focussed on applying our knowledge and skill to existing
homes, ensuring they remain available to provide their services.

Thinking differently is the main thing that’s needed to make the difference.

The Care Home Designer is a talented team dedicated to improving the quality of care for people who live, visit and work
in our care homes and live their daily lives with the complications and complexities of dementia.

Our ‘mission’ is to do more for the residents of our care homes. Using our knowledge and experience we can create better
environments that make sense, and are significantly less challenging for people living with a dementia.

What's different about The Care Home Designer?

Our novel approach is to address all the different area's of a home and make them work together properly. Common sense
you might think, so why isn’t anyone doing it? There are some lovely interior design schemes out there but often they're
positively unhelpful if you have dementia. Then there are some great dementia-specific features, but they often look like a
sticking plaster or have only been implemented under the influence of an imminent inspection.

The benefit of addressing all aspect together is the opportunity to create designs which are distinctive and thoroughly
enabling whilst providing further qualitative elements as a consequence of a consistent design scheme. This holistic approach
is intrinsically practical, structured and cost effective, which means its implementation can be staged, and therefore
affordable, whilst still ensuring maximum benefits and minimising disruption.

To coin a phrase - The whole is greater than the sum of its parts! And to coin another phrase - everybody wins!
