Il processo riabilitativo è cruciale per aiutare i pazienti per tornare rapidamente e completamente al loro lavoro e attività ricreative. La visione è uno dei sistemi senso-motori più integrati nel cervello e quindi è coinvolta nella maggior parte delle cose che facciamo.Quindi il processo visivo può essere una componente cruciale della riabilitazione e dovrebbe sem- pre essere indicato al paziente. Se qualsiasi problema si pre- sente,il paziente dovrebbe es- sere valutato e fatte raccoman- dazioni in modo che il resto del processo di riabilitazione possa progredire rapidamente e pie- namente. Questo può aiutare in modo determinante il resto del gruppo di riabilitazione ad otte- nere i loro obiettivi per il pazien- te.
