any other directors leading this program to what it is today. I want to come back as a proud alumnus in another 15 years to see you and Jim celebrate 40 years.
203 Amstel Way:
I can’t thank you enough. We are at year 3 living with each other (not including Greene). Time flies fast. I think it is fair to say band has had an impact each of us in a different way over the years. What better location to live than right across from the Music Building? It definitely makes for an easy commute in the morning. GameDay’s walking from North Campus weren’t fun, but we made it work somehow. Hope we all meet up once we all graduate and go out for drinks. Or better idea, since we are all of age let’s do it before graduation in May.
To Brendan:
Hey thanks for paying rent. No, but on a serious note (since this is Marching Band and play notes) you have always had great advice for me. You are a levelheaded person who is there for others. I think we can both see when we’ve had enough or just had “a day” without actually saying it. You’re a great leader and an even better President. Don’t sell yourself short. You capable of more than you think you are. I appreciate when you check up on me to see how I am doing or how my day has been. It’s a little thing, but it does make a difference. When you put your mind to something, you make it look easy. I look forward to seeing what great things you will do in the future.
To Matt Greene:
You are one giant meme. I can’t think of another person who comes up with more dad jokes or bad puns than yourself. Thank you for waking me up in the morning with your piano playing. I sometimes think I am dreaming of a piano when you play, but it’s actually just you practicing right outside my bedroom. All of those songs that you have make mash ups of and all of the videos you make me listen to that are very cringy, I appreciate it (sometimes). I know that’s what you do, so I just let it happen. Also, for anyone in the band wondering where all the extra Cliff Bars go, Matt Greene takes them to our apartment. Thank you for supplying our apartment with Cliff Bars. They’ve come in handy in the mornings when I am running late to class. You have shown me new music that I never would’ve known about. Some interesting song choices on our Thanksgiving Car Rides back home, but nonetheless good music overall. Bring Gizmo the Lizard to the apartment. We could use a house pet.
To Mikey:
You were quiet when we first met, but then you opened up a bit more once we got closer. We go way back to Freshman Year. I give you shit, and you give it right back to me, so I guess we’re even in that sense. When we first met, I only knew you from rushing PMA together. Then somehow we became roommates right after. On GameDay’s this year, I would see your parents more than I would see you. Thank you for housing me that time we weren’t allowed to move into the apartment yet and I needed a place to stay. Joking about South Park with you is always a good time. Thank you for all the laughs we’ve had over the years. If you work for the government, you better give me some of the benefits.
