You know if you ever need anything, you can always come to me. We’re both from Long Island so it’s not like we’re far away. I know some days this season were harder than others, but you handled it very well. Keep up the great work and definitely stay in touch!
To Melanie:
We’ve seen the section change tremendously over the years. We’ve seen people come and go. But throughout all of that, we both stayed. I think after Freshman year, we both realized that this band is something special. Being on staff with you over the last two seasons has been a lot of fun. Thank you for all that you have done for me and for our section.
To Michael:
Similar to Jared, I am giving the second Alto GAMEDAY Bus Shout Out to you, just on the opposite side of the bus. Thank you for being a very levelheaded friendly face to see every rehearsal. I am going to miss Claymont Pizza. Definitely stay in touch.
To Sophia:
How is this it? I remember meeting you for the first time during Band Camp Freshman Year seeing you do that thing with your feet and turning them backwards. Definitely an interesting first impression. We’ve gotten so close over the years and happy that we’ve become good friends. You will be my forever bus buddy. It was fun doing the Alto Shout Outs on the bus with you every GameDay. You killed it as Music Section the last two seasons!
To Zach:
Leave it to you to make a third Alto group chat. Then, make the Alto Business Chat turn into Memes. But for real though, you have been there since the beginning. You not being here for a year, made me realize that there was something missing. I’m glad I got to spend my last season with you back to your shenanigans.
Rookie Buddies (Ryan, Stephen, Noah, & Kyle):
I hope you all have had a great experience being a part of this band. Ryan, I know this is your second season in the band and it’s been great seeing you grow. As for Stephen, Noah, and Kyle, congrats on finishing your first season and not being a rookie anymore. Know that if any of you ever need anything at all, feel free to reach out to me. Have fun with the rest of time you have left in this band, it goes fast.
To Sam Phipps:
Ever since we found out we were going on the same study abroad trip this winter, we have gotten closer. I am so excited to experience Thailand and Australia. The trip is going to be something special for sure. You only have one more year in this band so cherish every moment of it. See you in Thailand next month.
To Alyssa:
Thank you for everything that you do for this band. You really have gone above and beyond for this band. Not only that but you have helped me personally as well. Whether it’s being there for me when I was dealing with personal issues or going out of your way driving me to the orthopedist on weekday when I was broken.
