Leave it to you to make group chats turn into memes. Your stories and sense of humor are a lot to handle sometimes, but that’s okay, I’m used to it by now lol. Thank you for just being you and always having a positive attitude. I am giving you the Alto GAMEDAY Bus shout out to you. I know I will be leaving it in good hands for next year. Yell at some people at the ass crack of dawn for me. I am also giving you the title that was given to me last year by Jordan Kavanaugh as Alto Dad. You are always there for our section and I have seen you grow as a person since I met you. Keep up the good work and keep making those Excel spreadsheets.
To Josh:
Ethnically Ambiguous? Your honest and friendly personality is always nice to be around. Our section would not be the same without you. I have enjoyed marching with you over the last three seasons. It was just annoying that you decided to have class during band and whenever I wanted to dress the form in Lost in Space, you weren’t there to dress to. It was great to see your class grow over the 3 years. You were lucky enough to have a strong and close rookie class to bond with as mine went from 19 people to 5 of us left. Don’t take that for granted.
To Jules:
I know the junior class has been close and that is awesome. Similar to what I said to Josh, I am so glad that your class has been a good group of friends on and off the field. You always have a smile on your face and always checking up on people to ask them how there day is going. I feel like we have grown closer each year and am happy we were on staff together. Keep spreading your joy and love to everyone. You’d be surprised how many people’s day you make better. I know you will succeed in whatever you put your mind to.
To Julia:
When you showed everyone that you were really a black belt, I immediately knew I couldn’t pick a fight with you. I know you had some issues standing for long periods of time, but you handled it very well nonetheless. Great job this season and keep it up!
To Leanna:
4 years just like that. Done in a blink of an eye. I will remember all of the times you didn’t get go during a “Gush and Go”. The backpack you had filled with water, so you didn’t need to move was a brilliant idea that I wish I thought of. You’re a very down to earth person and never gave anyone any issues. When someone told you to do something, you just did it. Keep that high work ethic up and you will go far in whatever you set your mind to.
To Luke:
10/10 Drill Section Leader. You did an awesome job this year cleaning up drill and explaining visuals clearly. Thank you for all that you do. I missed you every morning on GameDays when you would already be down at the Stadium before all of us doing Podium and Latter’s. Know that you do a lot for the section and I am grateful to have marched with you for 3 seasons.
To Matt:
From the beginning to the end of the season, you’ve made a huge improvement. In a way, I saw my Freshman self in you. I had little experience marching and I had no idea how to read a drill chart. You’ve grown a lot over the last few months and I am happy we got closer as the season progressed.
