kindest and most understanding people I know and I always look forward to seeing you. Your smile and humour are contagious and you definitely lighten the mood wherever you go (both on the field and off). I am so happy to call you one of my best friends and I am so happy to have gone through this activity with you all 4 years.
Jackie Littman: Jackie. Get Lit-man. This is a friendship that holds a special place in my heart. I am beyond grateful that you got me involved in pit with HTAC and I love that we have become so close. I may not be a member of the guard but I think you make a great captain (from what I’ve seen lol) and I think it’s super awesome that you were even junior captain last year. From our late night vent sessions to chick-fil-a runs, we have certainly had our adventures. I know this is a friendship that will continue and I love you so much.
Melanie Jones: Hey Melanie!!! I am so happy we became stand partners sophomore year because I would have never known how much we have in common. From hating on Maryland, to playing violin, and then venturing up to PA to go to Tuba christmas we’ve definitely had our fair share of adventures both on and off the field. Still a bit salty you never became a mello but I am also so happy to see where you’ve taken the alto section. Keep being the sunshine in everyone’s day because you are so good at it :)
Ethan Weinstein: THAT’S MY ROOMMATE!! Dude thank God I ran into you in the POD freshman year because I truly could not ask for a better roommate. I am so happy we got to stay in marching band together all these years and I am going to miss sharing an apartment with you next year bud. Thanks for dealing with all my existential crisis’ and for being such a genuine caring person.
Bri Licciardi: All nighter part 2? Bri it has been so much fun getting to do this activity with you these past 4 years. I remember when we first became friends coming back from that party and then chilling in Sabrina’s room when you told us you wanted to switch to either mello or tuba. I am so glad you decided to go with your gut and switch because you have done so well with the tubas. I am going to miss you next year and it was a blast getting to design the t shirts with you.
Jill Laakso: Lol throwback to when I thought you did drum corps. But forreal though, you hold yourself to such a high standard and do everything to the best of your ability that everything you do, you just appear to be naturally good at. I am so glad we got to become friends freshman year and I am so upset I don’t see you more since I am no longer an ed major. Regardless, you are such a caring person who is 110% dedicated to music. I can’t wait to see what type of music teacher you become because you are going to be an amazing one :)
Johnna McGreevy: You were my first friend at UD and one that I hold dear. I know we don’t see each other as much since I am no longer MUED but seeing you during rep, reeds, and just around Amy still brightens my day. You never hesitate to ask me how my day is going and you genuinely care which means a lot so thank you.
Steven Gelberg: Dude. I don’t even know where this friendship “officially” began but regardless, this is one that holds a special place in my heart. I am so happy that we stayed in touch after DMA and I remember being so excited to find out we would both be going to UD together (and Alyssa!) I remember finding you during marching band and being like “yo hey” and then both of us became staff and it got lit. I am so happy that you became drum major because it is definitely your element and that translates to you being a future music teacher as well. I can’t wait to see the awesome the band director you become. Love ya bud! :)
