trying to hunt down shave brushes of years
ago. But for me, I favored the models that
were made many moons ago verses the new
age shave brush model that although well
made, lacked that rustic and vintage appeal. I
continued finding, bidding on ebay and even
trading with other shavers until I began to
collect a nice vintage set of brushes.
So if your new to the hobby, you can do as I
did and scout the local swap meets, the flea
markets or the antique shops, try your luck
on ebay or simply trade with others to amass
your collection of shave brushes. Or you can
choose any one of the talented shave brush
turners we have in the community who for
a growing fee will be glad to turn that one of
a kind and unique shave brush to both your
color and shape specifications. As for me......
well I chose a different route! Stay tuned for
that story in next months article.
