Birds and Blooms - Part One: Trail Walk
Sunday May 22nd, 10:00 am
Miok Salz will lead a walk on the trails of the AIC to look for spring
migrants and resident birds. We'll also spend some time identifying
our beautiful early summer wildflowers. Space is limited. Preregistra-
tion is required.
Birds and Blooms - Part Two: Painting with Patrice
Sunday May 22nd, 1:30 pm
We continue our birds and blooms themed day with Patrice Jarvis-
Weber who will lead you in an acrylic painting workshop. Participants
will create their own version of the colorful Red Poppy painting by
Georgia O'Keeffe. The finished painting will be 8 x 10" on stretched
canvas. All materials are provided. Pre-registration and pre-payment
of $30 fee required by May 19th.
Embroidery Workshop
Saturday June 11th, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join artist Frances Gaffney for a fiber inspired workshop. Whether you
are experienced with needlework or just curious, it will be a fun way
to stretch your skill set. Learn some basic stitches before creating your
own unique piece. Course fee $5/person. Space is limited. Pre-
registration required.
