P. 7

This is the feast of victory. The lamb who was slain has begun his reign.

As Jesus taught, we pray: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy
kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And
lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the
power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Before we come to His table, let us humbly pray: Most merciful Lord, your love compels us to
come in. Our hands were unclean; our hearts were unprepared; we did not feel fit to even
eat the crumbs from under your table. But you, Gracious Lord, enable us by faith to eat
this bread and drink this wine. Cleanse and feed us with the precious body and blood of
Christ, that he may live in us and we in him and that we with the whole company of heaven
may sit and eat in your kingdom. Amen

Draw near and receive the body and blood of our Savior Jesus Christ in remembrance that he
died for us. He invites all to His table for these are the gifts of God for you the people of God!
Come and eat for all now is ready!

Father of all, we give you thanks and praise, that we were still far off you met us in your Son and
brought us home. Dying and living, he declared your love, gave us grace and destroyed the veil
that separated us from you. May we who share Christ’s body live his risen life, we who drink his
cup bring life to others; we whom the Spirit lights give light to the world.

Keep us firm in the hope you have set before us, so we and all of your children shall be free,
and the whole earth live to praise your name.

A hymn or song may be sung.

                                 - CARROLLTON
Lord Your love builds bridges that cannot be burned
It speaks truth that cannot be learned
It's a treasure we can never earn
Oh, it goes places we're afraid of going
               It's not a fist it's a hand wide open
Reaching out to the down and broken
We believe Your love is the strongest way
You're tearing down walls and You break our chains
Even in this darkness hope will rise again
When we lay down our weapons, we will let love win
Lord we lay down our weapons and we let love win
Lord Your love is a friend to its enemies
