POLICY: TEAM MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT                                                        Policy #7

              The purpose of the team member Conduct Policy is to improve team member performance and
              customer service.  As such, the Policy shall serve as a guide for supervisors and team members
              and  shall  be  used  to  correct  team  member  behavior  and  performance  that  does  not  meet
              standards.

              As the basic standard of fairness in the Center, team members are to be informed of the types
              of behavior expected of them and the rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and practices by
              which they must abide. Corrective actions result from failure to abide by the standards.  It is the
              policy that the standards of conduct for team members be equitably enforced.

              Each team member is expected to conduct her/himself in a manner befitting her or his status as
              a team member of Jack & Jill Children’s Center. She or he shall refrain from actions or public
              announcements,  which  reflect  adversely  upon  the  Center.    Team  members  shall  exercise
              prudence and discretion in regard to all official business of the Center.

              Team members are to abide by the National Association for the Education of Young Children
              (NAEYC) Code of Ethical Conduct and Statement of Commitment and the Florida Department of
              Education Code of Ethics & Principles of Professional Conduct for the Education Profession in
              Florida. Team members will be required to sign the NAEYC’s Statement of Commitment and the
              Standards of Ethical Conduct Commitment, both documents will be kept in the team member’s
              file.

              A corrective action may include a reprimand, written warning, suspension, or termination as
              deemed appropriate by Jack & Jill Children’s Center.
