Out & About program
Since its launch in mid-2018, the Out & About program has become a valued part of our client offering. It helps to connect people, and bring them closer together. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic the NSW Government implemented social distancing measures that made it impossible for us to provide Out & About activities to our many valued clients in its existing form.
This was a very difficult decision for us, as we know that many of our clients enjoy participating in the Out & About program, and rely on the program for community connectedness. The health of our clients and team, however, are our number one priority.
Effective 1 June 2020, the NSW Government has announced relaxation of the social distancing measures that were imposed in response to COVID-19. Notwithstanding changes to these social distancing measures, a 4-square metre rule, physical distancing and hygiene and safety requirements continue to apply across New South Wales.
True to our innovative spirit, however, we have thought hard about how we can continue to provide the Out & About program in a post COVID-19 context. We have been connecting our clients into targeted 'pods', whereby we connect them with one another for small social outings, such as a coffee. This has been carried out on a case-by-case basis, so if this is something that you are interested in, then please feel free to contact one of our team in 1300 377 074 to register your interest.
We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, and will provide further information when it comes to hand. We have every intention of recommencing our Out & About program once it is safe to do so, and will provide further information in the coming weeks and months.
