    allcare ensures all team members have access to the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
At allcare we:
• Check team members' temperatures at the start of each day
• Increase frequency of hand washing, and use of hand sanitiser
• Wear gloves
• Complete client wellness checks before entering clients' homes
• Wear masks
• Support staff taking sick leave if unwell
allcare has taken steps to limit client exposure and is proactively helping clients complete tasks outside of the home, such as medication collection, groceries and running errands on their behalf.
allcare is responding quickly to clients and team members who display symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough and shortness of breath) and are encouraging clients and team members to seek medical advice where appropriate.
allcare has taken steps to comply with all COVID-19 guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO) and all applicable federal, state and local requirements.
How can you help us?
We recognise that it is going to take the efforts of the entire community to tackle COVID-19. We are asking for our clients' support to help us minimise the impact and spread of viruses in our community. If you have returned from overseas in the last 14 days or should you be experiencing or develop flu-like symptoms such as a fever, coughing, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath, we ask that you please take the following actions:
• If you have an appointment scheduled with allcare please contact us in advance to discuss your options by calling 1300 377 074
• Avoid contact with others by staying more than 2 metres apart
• Seek advice by contacting your local GP or the 24/7 national hotline on 1800 020 080
As our CEO, Christopher Murphy explained
in the introduction to this edition of allcare Connect, allcare continues to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation, and will adapt its services in line with advice from public health authorities.
Whilst it is easy to get distracted by the negativity of COVID-19, it is critically important to be mindful of the good that exists in the world; it helps to provide perspective! allcare
is still here. We are committed to servicing the needs of our clients, and we are not planning to go anywhere!
