Hi Everyone: Let me start by saying it has been an absolute pleasure to represent all of you as the XX Elected Empress of Las Vegas. I want you to know that the journey I took as your Empress was an emotional roller coaster of sorts. From traveling with my Emperor to
traveling by myself – at times feeling safe and secured to feeling lonely and afraid. At
times I felt challenged by my board of directors, college , court and the community. ... to be more of an Empress than I was expecting to be and that was tough. But knowing that I tried my best – to look the part, act the part and represent all of you to the best of my ability – I know I did an incredible job!
So thank you.
Seattle – the College of Mon- archs who supported me as an
Emperor – 25 years ago – to supporting me being an Em- press of Las Vegas this year ...a lot of time has gone by but it sure seems like yesterday – thank you – Sofonda Peters/ Harry/Tim Lake / Scottie /Gaysha Starr and Coco Vaughan. Rob Hag- gard – your phone calls just to checkuponme–meantalot ! Nina Maxwell – sister – from the days when we drank at Neighbors – to today – like we
haven’t missed a day.
San Francisco – Misty Blue and John Paul Soto – thank you for as acknowledging myself and Mikey – a small smile goes along way . Mercedes Munro – beautiful in/out and tonight your command – a treasure! Nic Hunter – it meant a lot to
me that you took to Misty and Koko last year-TY. Pollo – sis- ter – knowing your not going to be here tonight you are always present though- love you! Ruby Munro – from the 1sst time I metyou–boywasIinah–to- night knock em dead with that Command girl – a future Em- press of SF – yeah ! Brother – Leandro – its been awhile since Ive met an Emperor that takes me by surprise – that’s you ! – what you do for your commu- nity and for other courts – with all your Tamales – unbelievable – you are a true public servant to the community – Im proud to call you my “Brother Emper- or”
Denver – Jackie Summers – sista – I love it when a haole is so “da kine” on the same page as the locals . love you tita girl!Jazmine – when our paths crossed in Austin, TX – I felt like I’ve known you for years... thanks sister for the talk. Broth- er Robert Flores – what can I say – “a hello” goes a long way – thanks for a quick check up on me throughout the year – it meant the world and being here tonight – I thank you – means a lot from one local to another. Love you brother!
Alameda – Sister Anni – thank you for coming into all of our lives . Brother - David Bra- camontes – what can I say – I adore you for your dedication to be everywhere for all of us – and so glad you are one of my commands this evening. I see a future Emperor – one day! Much love brother !
Long Beach – Hara/Eric / Fab- rique / Cory / Mia – thank you for the years of support you have
provided for the Las Ve- gas Court – we love all of you dearly! Paloma sister – Mikey and I are blown away with your dedication to your court and community – you go girl! Prince Sam – thank you for coming up to do your performance at Sa- mantha’s Princess Ball and later broke many of hearts in this city – Im so happy you are a Com- mand this evening – we love you!
Orange County – King Wells and Tequilla Mc- Cray Halston – you were the perfect E and E cou- ple – I adore you both. Sacramento – Jeo – thank you for taking Mikey around in San Francisco and the intro- duction into one of his first big Coronations as a newly elected Emperor – it meant a lot to me – TY – Betty Booger and Rocki – what the hell can I say about you two – Stunning/Adorable/ Loveable/Funny and two individuals I hope I can share more time with – more Corona- tions and in the corner – laughing at ourselves the whole night – we need a bigger table – than a 10 top! Right! Love you guys!
Reno – Savannah/Hope/ Felicia Jewel Halston – I have adore all three of you for years – always stunning and Im always in ah! May you continue to “jewel” us all ! Brother David Harrison White –
