Attendance and Method of Delivery
The program is a residential program of study. A student is expected to attend all scheduled
classes and clinical rotations. Absence is defined as not being present after one (1) clock hour of
the scheduled class or 30 minutes for clinical time. A student must contact the school as soon as
possible when he/she cannot be in attendance as scheduled. The school, by policy, allows a
maximum of five (5) days absent per semester. Tardy is defined as not being present at the
scheduled starting time of any learning experience. A tardy is recorded if the student arrives in
clinical and/or class after their scheduled time to be present.
Class assignments and exams missed can be made up at the discretion of the faculty. It is the
student’s responsibility to meet with the faculty to review and obtain make-up assignments and
make arrangements to take a make-up exam. A fee is charged and the receipt is required prior to
administration of an exam.
