DOUGLAS COUNTY NONPROFIT GIVING GUIDE
www.dccf.org/givesday
The Douglas County Veterans Monument Foundation is a Colorado 501(c)3 Non-Profit formed to construct a mon- ument and gathering place for all of our past, present and future veterans. There will always be a need to maintain our award winning monument and plaza, keeping it a beautiful gathering place for our community to honor and pay tribute to their friends and family members who have served. The DCVMF is an all volunteer board dedicated to putting the needs of our veterans at the forefront.
A specific type of horses are selected and trained to perform precise movements in a unique cadence, allowing the scientific principle of kinesiology, neurophysiology, and sensory integration to come together and provide a catalyst that alters a client’s brainwave pattern frequency. This movement helps to ‘reset’ and clear damage created by traumatic events or chronic stress by reestablishing connectivity in various areas of the brain that clients can’t ac- cess-changing their perception of life around them and paving the way for traditional therapies to be more effective.
