After LBHS I went to Chestnut Hill College outside of Philadelphia for four years,
majoring in Fashion Design. Upon graduation I moved to the Washington, DC area. I
had come to the realization that I was not aggressive enough to work in the design field
so I worked for a doctor at Georgetown University Hospital.

A few months later I met my husband, Bob, through mutual friends. Four years later we
were blessed with our first daughter, Megan. As the years went by we had three more
daughters, Kerry, Maureen and Kelly. That period of time was filled with homework,
basketball games and the rest of what goes along with having children. My husband
worked for Paine Webber, now UBS, as a stockbroker and we were fortunate enough to
be taken by the company on several trips over the next 20 years……

Fast forward…the girls are grown, have master's degrees, are married and have blessed
us with 10 grandchildren, 5 boys and 5 girls, ages 1 - 7 ! Two families live nearby in
Maryland, and the others live in Texas and Florida (soon to be moving to Costa Rica).
My husband is now retired, we are both healthy (knock on wood!) and we pretty much
limit our traveling now to visiting our kids and grandkids !

We also enjoy going to Ocean City, Maryland, and Maine during the summer and Florida
for a couple of months during the winter ! This January, I have been looking through my
LBHS yearbook and am so looking forward to our reunion! Here's hoping we have a
great turnout !
