Elaine Siegal Shooman
My husband Mark (an Asbury alum) and I have been in the metro Boston area for the last
40 years. We raised three children Scott 37, Jill 35, and Eric 33 who are all married with
families of their own. Our three grandchildren (four by the time this is printed) are our
greatest joy.
For over 30 years I worked in human resources, specializing in training and recruitment. I
trained the future buyers for Macy’s New York and hard hats learning to drive forklifts at
a Domino Sugar refinery. Prior to retirement I consulted with small businesses on their
staffing needs. We now spend much of our time traveling, often to see our grandchildren
in Florida and California.
