After leaving high school, I worked for the Federal Government U.S. Dept. of the
Interior, Bureau of Sports Fisheries and Wildlife, Sandy Hook Marine Laboratories, as a
Microbiological Asst.
During that time I met a young man at a Monmouth College Basketball game, who was
from New Shrewsbury. 3 years later he joined the Marine Corps and we were married.
I’ve lived all though the Continental United States, and Hawaii, at Marine Corps Air
Stations, and Naval Air Stations.
Throughout the years I continued in Federal Service working my way up the ladder to be
the Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore Base Telecommunications Officer. Retiring with
32 years of Service.
NAS Lemoore's primary mission as the Navy’s Master Jet Naval Station is to support the
U.S. Pacific Fleet and its mission to train, man, and equip West Coast Fighter Squadrons
so they may be ready to do the nation’s business anywhere in the world. With the F/A 18
Fighter Aircraft, and support.
I have 2 children; Adina & Dara of whom I am so very proud and 4 grandchildren, 3 boys
and 1 girl, ages 24, 23, 18 & 17 years old.
