Jackie Woods Kineavy

After graduating from high school, I became a registered nurse and went to work in
Philadelphia. I was married to Jerry Kineavy in 1972 and moved back to Monmouth
County. I worked for a while at Jersey Shore in the School of Nursing. During that time
I also had two sons—Scott and Todd.

I continued my education in Nursing, finally receiving a doctorate from Teachers
College, Columbia University. I am still working... serving as Senior Vice President for
Academic and Student Affairs at Passaic County Community College.

My husband Jerry Kineavy worked as a practicing attorney in Monmouth County for 35
years. He passed away in 2011 from cardiac disease. My sons live in Tinton Falls. Scott
is an attorney serving as the Tax Assessor in Aberdeen Township. Todd is an editor for
Marquis.
