▪ Decreased urinary output

                  ▪ Cloudy, smoky, brown-colored urine (hematuria)
                  ▪ Pallor, irritability, lethargy
                  ▪ In an older child: Headaches, abdominal or flank pain, dysuria
                  ▪ Hypertension
                  ▪ Proteinuria that produces a persistent and excessive foam in the urine
                  ▪ Azotemia
                  ▪ Increased blood urea nitrogen and creatinine levels
                  ▪ Increased anti–streptolysin O titer (used to diagnose disorders caused by
                    streptococcal infections)
