Effective
Governance
and Management
Experience has taught Malaysia that the most important
measure to safeguard cyberspace is effective governance
and management. The management of cyber security risks
should evolve simultaneously with the evolution of threats,
alongside the adoption of digital in doing business. Ideally, we
need a national standard on governance and management,
which allows for shared responsibility and cross-sectional
integration to optimise the efforts in dealing with any issues,
threats or breaches.
