Statistics deals with data collection, organisation, analysis and interpretation. lt offers great tools for us
to understand real life situations. Predictions or solutions to an observed problem can then be devised.

Statistical concepts & terms to know:

         1) Population - a collection of objects.
         2) Sample - a selection of objects from the population.

         2) Random Sample - sample for which all possible
seleclions of objects are equally likely.
         2) Data - the measurements or observations of some quantities
                - two types: a) discrete (only takes specific numerical values)
                                                                            either be
                           b) continuous (can take any numerical values) grouped OR ungrouped
