Warmest greetings to the Philippine Psychiatric Association, Inc. as it holds its 47th Annual Convention entitled, “Psychiatry in the New Normal: An Evolving Biopsychosociospiritual Approach”, on January 20 to 22, 2021.
Your theme is very timely amid this pandemic as we all try to adapt into the new normal. We salute you all for bravely facing the challenges vis-à-vis the COVID-19 virus and for continuing to provide Continuing Professional Development programs despite the hindrance to physically gather at this time.
We hope that your objective to keep your members abreast with the current trends and management of psychiatric disorders to strengthen doctors and allied mental health professionals in dealing with the mental health effects of the pandemic be realized.
On behalf of the PMA National Officers and Board of Governors, we congratulate you all for the success of your 47th Annual Virtual Convention! We look forward to your continued collaboration with the PMA in all its advocacies and activities.
