Qualifications of Staff Answering Poison

with specialized training in poisonings

All WVPC staff are Certified Specialists in
Poison Information (CSPIs), the result of
extensive work in the area of toxicology
and passing a national poison specialist
examination. Maintenance of certification
requires reexamination and proof on con-
continued full-time employment as a CSPI.
