HCPS is committed to engaging with families and
communities. We know that educating the whole
child and building relationships are pathways to
academic achievement.
HCPS educators collaborate to develop rigorous
and relevant learning experiences that nourish our
students’ passion for lifelong learning.
In HCPS, we educate and nurture. Our attendance
and graduation rates are above the state average,
and each year we work toward achieving 100%.
In HCPS, we believe in preparing our students for a
diverse, change-oriented, global society by studying,
honoring, and affirming diversity.
In HCPS we use cutting edge technology to enhance
learning beyond the classroom, but we know that
there is no substitute for a highly effective teacher.
HCPS prepares students not only for college and

out in to the world with the confidence and power
to change it for the better.
HCPS is working to recruit diverse people who

opportunities provided within the district, and
we seek to expand our professional learning
