Instructional Coaches
                                                              Instructional Coaches provide instructional and classroom environment support to
                                                           first year teachers in identified buildings across HCPS. Instructional Coaches engage first year
                                                                teachers in collaborative activities in order to support their work with students.
                                                                      Specifically, Instructional Coaches provide support in:
                                                                                Planning for Instruction
                                                           Setting up, maintaining, and evaluating a classroom management plan that supports student
                                                                          success and a classroom culture for learning
                                                                        Using the Danielson framework as a reflection tool
                                                                       Preparing for the observation and evaluation process
                                                                  Applying formal observation and evaluation feedback to daily practice
                                                                     Using new instructional strategies to support student success
                                                                       Aligning lessons to standards and assessment measures
                                                          Setting up routines and procedures to support the appropriate behavior of each individual student
