Special Offering at Northern Illinois Synod Assembly

Bishop Jeffrey Clements challenged each congregation in the Northern IL Synod to make a

donation to the ELCA “Always Being Made New” five year campaign that supports new and

expanded churchwide ministries around the world. The gifts will assist communities to grow
in faith, form new leaders, welcome our neighbors, overcome malaria, confront hunger and

poverty and more. Trinity’s collection on June 2nd brought in $191.02.

The Bishop’s challenge to raise $10,000 was

exceeded at NIS Assembly!

At the assembly, congregations and individuals

of the Northern Illinois Synod shared
$23,059.07 for the Synod Assembly offering!

Additional gifts have been promised.

Trinity Mission Men

Time to gather your family and bring them to the July TMM event.

We are hosting a hot dog roast on July 13 at 11:30 a.m. for the whole

family. All people of Trinity are invited to this event.

We'll have lunch, socialize, kids can play, and make s'mores. We will have
the event at the Lake Summerset campground on Rock Grove Road just
west of Best Road. Just BYOB and we will cook for the women folk....

gourmet dogs and all.
