Additional Tidbits
Sharon has informed the council and synod that she will not be renewing
her contract in February 2021.
Because the church building has not reopened, staff are working from
home with occasional time spent at church when needed. If you would
like to meet with Sharon or Shannon, please contact them to set up a
time.
Offerings are not counted weekly so there may be a delay in your checks
clearing the bank.
There are differing thoughts of offering virtual and drive through com-
munion. If you’d like to learn more about the theology behind different
distribution methods, please contact Sharon. She would love to offer a
Zoomed informational gathering.
Bishop Clements has invited us all to join him via Zoom for a book study
on White Fragility: Why it’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Rac-
ism. The study will run six weeks on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. be-
ginning July 29. Order you book now and please join us for this time of
study together. Register here: https://nisynod.org/white-fragility-book-study/
If you would like to see a copy of the monthly financial reports that our
accountant prepares for the council, let the office know.
