P. 5
We are very excited about our work and we hope that the whole congregation might be will-
ing to participate. Right now, we are looking for members who might be willing to plant
some seeds in their own gardens to help us supplement what we will have to offer in our
Farmer’s Market. We will supply the seeds and the information you will need as to when to
plant etc. Then once it is time to harvest the produce, we ask you to pick it, clean it and then
bring it in either Saturday evening or Sunday morning so we can sell it Sunday after worship.
For those of you who do not have gardens we will also have herb seeds which do really well
in pots in a sunny location like on a deck or porch. Again, we would ask you to harvest, clean
the product up, and bring it in either Saturday evening or Sunday morning.
I hope many of you will join us in this ministry! It sure is a lot of fun working together and the
need for wholesome and nutritious food is so very great in our community! The seed packets
will be available in the Narthex on Sunday so we hope you will consider participating in this
important ministry—it’s a wonderful way to proclaim the love of God!
Getting anxious for spring,
Pastor Pat
