Our Athens
“First New Christian Fellowship Baptist Church has been a spiritual presence
in the Athens Community over 50 years. To this very day, the church
represents “sanctuary” for community residents to gather for worship and
pray. The church takes seriously the teachings of scripture to welcome
the stranger, meet the needs of those who hunger, who are thirsty and are
homeless (Matthew 25. 31-46).”
“La Iglesia Bautista First New Christian Fellowship ha tenido una presencia
espiritual en la comunidad de Athens por más de 50 años. Hasta hoy, la iglesia
representa un “santuario” donde los residentes de la comunidad se reúnen
para rendir culto rezar. La iglesia toma en serio las enseñanzas de las escrituras
para dar la bienvenida a los desconocidos, satisfacer las necesidades de quienes
tienen hambre, tienen sed y no tienen hogar (Mateo 25, 31-46)”.
