Safety messages in this catalog use the guidelines of the American National Standard ANSI Z535.4 for Product Safety Signs and Labels and ANSI Z535.3 Criteria for Safety Symbols. Messages associated with specific products use a triangular hazard alert symbol, signal word (CAUTION, WARNING, DANGER) and how to avoid the hazard. Each message refers to pages (754-756) which provides additional safety symbols and three-part messages advising of:
• The hazard
• How to avoid the hazard
• The probable consequence of not avoiding the hazard
PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW these messages to avoid injury to yourself and bystanders.
