Extractors
• Drilling pilot holes, inserting extractors and using extractors can cause flying chips. Extractors can break if overloaded. Wear safety goggles. (User and bystanders)

Nut Splitters
Flying chips and broken tools can cause injury.
Gear Head Torque Multipliers
• Use of gear head torque multipliers for torque control may result in inaccurate torque application.
For accurate control of torque use an Electrotork®, a Torqometer® or other measuring device located directly on the fastener.
Limited accuracy of the torque ratio of a gear head torque multiplier may cause improper preload of the fastener if it is used for torque control.
Hand Tools
• Chrome and industrial finish hand tools can break if overloaded or used for the wrong application.

Pullers, Presses
• Puller parts under stress can break.

Ratchets
• Ratchet mechanism may slip or break if dirty. Mismatched or partially worn parts can cause ratchet to slip or break. Frequently inspect, clean and lubricate all non-sealed ratchet mechanisms with light oil.
Do not immerse sealed ratchet in fluids.
Do not replace worn parts individually, use entire contents of the service kit.

Riveting, Sanding, Door Tools
• Riveting and nut setting tools can cause
flying chips.

Scrapers
• Scrapers and putty knives can break if used for prying or chiseling.

Do not use a scraper or putty knife as a prybar or chisel.
