SECTION 1. DUES.
ARTICLE VII CLUB MEMBERSHIP
The Board shall determine annually by a two-thirds vote of Directors the single and family dues, fees, and assessments to be paid by members. Payment is due and payable on or before the first day of the Club fiscal year. The Board may set fines for late payment.
SECTION 2. RIGHTS OF MEMBERS.
A. Upon payment of annual dues and other charges, a member may: 1. Use all Club facilities
2. Walk the course at any time.
3. Own, operate, and store on golf cart per Certificate, space permitting.
B. If a member pays family dues, the member’s spouse or domestic partner and children under age 21
may use all Club facilities.
SECTION 3. HERITAGE AND CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP.
A. HERITAGE MEMBERSHIP
1. A member or former member is eligible for Heritage membership when they meet the
following requirements:
a. The sum of their age and full years of Equity membership is ninety-three (93) or
greater, and
b. Their full years of Equity membership is a minimum of five (5) years.
2. The Board shall establish rules for Heritage members, including but not limited to: the maximum number of Heritage memberships, the annual fee, the per round fee, private cart privileges, and a limit on the number of weekly holes of play at that rate. A Heritage member may not hold a Proprietary Certificate and may not vote on Club matters. Applications for Heritage membership will be considered in the order received.
B. CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Corporate Proprietary Certificates may be held in the name of a business organization. The Board of Directors shall approve the designee on each corporate certificate. The individual shall have membership privileges and voting rights. Such business organizations shall not hold in excess of one (1) Proprietary Certificate.
SECTION 4. ADDITIONAL MEMBERSHIPS.
The Board may adopt additional non-Proprietary Certificate memberships as necessary for the financial well-being of the Club. All dues, fees, and privileges of additional non-Proprietary Certificate memberships are developed by the Membership and Finance Committees for final review and approval of the Board.
SECTION 5. MEMBER WAITING LIST.
When the Club is at full membership Applications for membership accompanied by a deposit determined by the Board will be placed on a waiting list by date of application. Rules for screening new members will be set by the Membership Committee, which will maintain the list and contact the candidate when a vacancy in membership occurs.
SECTION 6. LEAVE OF ABSENCE.
A. A member surrendering a Certificate per Section 3A of Article VI may request in writing to be placed on the membership waiting list in advance of all candidates not former members for a period of two (2) years. The Board may grant the request after reviewing the reason for the request. This can only be done one time unless the Board grants a special exception.
B. If within the two years, the former member rejoins, the former member shall pay the then current equity payment and any difference between the then current initiation fee and the initiation fee originally in force when the former member resigned. If the former member had previously paid for a golf cart space, the Club shall assign a new space when available.
