SECTION 7. HOUSE COMMITTEE.
The House Committee, in conjunction with the General Manager shall:
1. Make recommendations regarding Food & Beverage operations,
2. Monitor clubhouse facilities with special focus on interior decorations and overall
maintenance, and
3. Coordinate House functions associated with Club social and golf events.
SECTION 8. FINANCE COMMITTEE.
The Finance Committee, in conjunction with the General Manager, shall:

Supervise the financial affairs of the Club,
Prepare and recommend to the Board an annual budget and long-range program for the
handling of the Club’s finances,
Recommend to the Board all member fees and dues,
Administer all Insurance and Technology aspects of Club operations, and
The Finance Committee shall establish an Internal Audit Committee of two to four
members, none of whom shall be Directors. The Internal Audit Committee shall perform reviews to ensure compliance with accepted accounting practices and ensure controls to safeguard assets. Internal Audit Committee findings shall be documented and presented to the Board at a minimum of every two years or sooner as requested by the Board.
SECTION 9. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.
There shall be an Executive Committee, members of which shall be the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Club. It shall be the duty of the Executive Committee to consider matters of Club business between regular Board meetings and to recommend action on these matters to the Board at its regular or special meetings. It shall further be the duty of the Executive Committee to act in matters of Emergency Club business, but only after seeking oral approval of any proposed action from a majority of Board members when possible and to report to the Board at its next meeting on action taken. The Executive Committee shall also advise the General Manager on all matters regarding Board consideration.
SECTION 10. MARKETING AND ADVERTISING COMMITTEE.
The Marketing and Advertising Committee shall support the General Manager as required to create and place advertising in various media to promote green fee play and seek new members.
SECTION 11. GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE.
The Grievance Committee shall investigate all grievances assigned to it in accord with written procedures approved by the Board and report its findings and recommendations to the Board.
SECTION 12. SAFETY COMMITTEE.
The Safety Committee shall be responsible for reporting to the Board on matters based on its reviews or on items submitted to it that could affect the safety of members or guests of the Club.
ARTICLE VI PROPRIETARY CERTIFICATES
SECTION 1. NUMBER AND OWNERSHIP.
There shall be 440 Proprietary Certificates in the property of the Club. The Club shall issue to a member a proprietary certificate as evidence of ownership of an interest in the Club. A Certificate may be co- owned by a husband and wife or two domestic partners. A member may own only one Certificate.
SECTION 2. FORM OF CERTIFICATE.
Proprietary Certificates shall be in a form approved by the Board, signed by the Secretary, and under the seal of the Club.
