something is happening.

               Then, it puts the

               hypothesis to the test,
               actually trying to

disprove it. If it is disproved, a new

hypothesis is proposed, until all the variables
have been checked, and the hypothesis

               holds true.

Science is not static, it changes, it evolves.
Somebody comes up with a new question,

and the whole hypothesis has to be retested.

Fake science, on the other hand, decides in

advance what the results will be, and throws

away anything that is not in accordance with
               the desired results.

When I was teaching at OLLI-

                                   UNLV, I used this example:

                                    “All women love pink.”

                                   Who, among you women,
                                   does not love pink?” Several

                                   hands went up.
