I traveled around the world, an independent
and confident young woman. I became a
doormat during my marriage, afraid of
everything, unable to speak, except to my
children.
The cult I was
involved with did not
allow women to look
men in the eyes;
heads always had to
be bowed. I learned to be submissive to
survive.
It did help that I had a wonderful first
experience with the Tapping Techniques. At
the time, I was home schooling seven
children, while building a part time practice.
I was tired, even exhausted. I would get up
in the morning by sheer willpower.
When the presenters asked us to “find a
problem in your life,” I chose “lack of
energy.”
