MARKETING STRATEGY
Whether you want to teach astronomy in schools, open a new sports facility or
renting a camping accommodation with your portable planetarium, the most
important part is your marketing strategy!
What should you take into account about
your marketing strategy
1 A marketable product or idea: research the viability of your
business idea and market.
2 Enough funding to back your idea: not enough money in the
beginning is a major reason for business failure.
Business Strategy: Where will you do business, how and what's
3 the best way to get the info into the right people's hands and
hearts? Word of mouth might be the best option.
Keep expenses down: while your business starts growing be
4 aware of your expenses and use your creativity to solve and find
solutions.
5 Maintain your equipment: It's the drawing card for your business.
Poor equipment equals poor performance and poor profitability!
6 Stay current with what's happening in the sky: Nobody likes a
pretender. You're an amateur or professional astronomer. Act like
one.
You should have a list of resources for questions that you cannot
answer, so that your clients can get what they are seeking.
