our future. They sucked our blood, went on the haj pilgrimage
        and ate until they were ready to burst. May they get no benefit
        from stealing the daily bread of our children.

            They hid their ignoble nature behind the curtain of Allah.
        But  they  could  not,  their  true  face  came  through  when  they

        launched their coarse and tyrannical attacks on us. They called
        you rabble and looters. With one tyranny after another they ate
        and drank the fruits of your labour. They did not forget to commit
        to memory that you are the enemy.

            You, that is the ruffians, knew no other road. You understood
        that they were reaching their hands towards your labour and
        bread, your most noble values. And you entered into battle for the

        sake of your labour. You were not inclined to lies and deceit. You
        did not covet property. You gave what you had to the fight. You
        laid claim to your own labour. And by resisting you won...

            Today you are writing a legend about both producing and ad-
        ministering yourselves, about resisting and producing. You laid
        claim to your labour, bread and toil by resisting. You did not say
        all right to those who took your rights and you are fighting for the
        future of your children.


            This is a first, it is true… And it will not be the last. As the
        poem says, you are “those who create”. And you are aware that
        you create. You support what you have created and will continue
        to do so. With the new ground that you broke, you add an exam-
        ple to the struggle for rights of all workers.

             It is labour that makes human beings what they are. It is the
        work of great humanity to support your own labour. As such a
