What’s something you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I really enjoy playing the piano/ guitar and singing. I enjoy writing music too when I have the time.
What’s something most people may not know about you?
Captain America is my favorite super hero. But if I could have anyone’s super powers I would choose Loki’s. He seems like he has a blast messing with people.
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment or achievement?
I think my greatest accomplishment so far has been living in Africa for six months on my own. Not that I did anything extravagant while I was there. But I was fresh out of high school and that was
the first time I had been on
my own. I learned a lot about myself and really became confident in who I wanted to be as a person. I am so thankful that I had that opportunity.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
My mom always says “The
way out is through.” Meaning that no matter the challenge or hardship you are facing,
the way out is through the
pain, through the emotions, and through the difficult conversations. You can’t avoid the problem if you want things to get better. That has been the most inspirational and helpful advice that I’ve been given.
Describe yourself in three words.
Kind. Outgoing. Adventurous.
What is your name, job title and department?
My name is Kamille Butler and I am a Customer Service Representative 2 (CSR 2)
How long have you been with the BWL?
I have worked as a full-time employee a little over a year now. However, I came in as a 1st S.T.E.P. student while I was still in high school and then joined as a temp. Overall, I have been with BWL just over two years.
What does a day on the job normally look like for you? Well it depends on what I
am assigned for that week. Some days I work emails/ correspondence and other days I take calls. No matter what task I am assigned for the day, my main task is responding to our customers in a helpful and concise way. I enjoy the days when I am assigned to take calls. It is fun being able
to connect with the customers and hear their stories.
How has your day changed since working from home given COVID-19?
Emails have been busier than usual. We have been working hard to keep up with the emails and make sure we provide excellent customer service, even in this time of crisis. We’ve always been a good team,

but we have especially been more conscious of when our teammates need help so that we don’t fall behind as a whole. On a fun note, my cat has been extremely obnoxious since I’ve started working from home. So snuggles are demanded from her while I am working.
Has working from home made your job easier or harder? In what ways?
It has been nice working from home, mostly because there
is no need to change out of my PJ’s. However, being away from my coworkers has been difficult. They always put a smile on my face and help me stay positive throughout the day. It has also been a little challenging getting used to working from a laptop instead of my desktop. I miss my two screens!
What’s the best part about your job?
Definitely my coworkers. We are like family and they make the work day exciting and fun! I am always happy to come in and see their smiling faces.
When you were younger, what did you want to do when you grow up?
I wanted to own a Café. That is still my goal in the long run. I love to bake and bring smiles to people’s faces!
