          Amy Baker-Brown
Amy began working at the Board in 2000 as a Customer Billing Representative 1 . By 2004, she had worked up to a CBR3 . In 2007, she became a Meter Reading System Specialist, moving
to Customer Account Specialist a year later . In 2009, Amy moved to Field Services Support Specialist, remaining in that position for nine years . 2018 took her to AMI Data Support, which is the position from which she retired on January 4, 2020, after 19 .25 years of service .
Leslie Baldwin
Leslie began working at the Lansing Board of Water and Light on October 1, 2001, as a Power Plant Operator A, which he held for six years . In 2007, Leslie became the Station Shift Supervisor, remaining in that position until his retirement on January 4, 2020, after 18 .26 years of service .
Bernie Betts
Bernie started at the Board of Water and Light in 1977 as a Temporary Laborer in General Maintenance, becoming permanent 3 months later . Shortly after becoming permanent, he was promoted to a Boulevard Trainee and transferred to Line Construction . In 1980, he was promoted to a Truck Driver in Line Construction and 3 years later promoted to a Lineman Helper . Bernie then transferred to Construction Services in 1988, where he held the position of Painter for 2 years before transferring to Electric Metering and beginning the Secondary Meter Specialist Apprenticeship . He completed the apprenticeship and obtained his Journey status in 1992 . The following year, he was reclassified to Senior Secondary Meter Specialist which is the position he held until his retirement on January 4, 2020, after 42 .64 years of service .
Mike Butka
Mike began working at the Lansing Board of Water and Light on July 30, 1984, as a Computer Operator for General Accounting . In 1998, he began his work as a Programmer Trainee, and a year later, he was promoted to Programmer . In 2000, Mike started working as an Applications Programmer, and he moved to Senior IT Analyst 13 years later . The year 2017 brought him to IT as a Programmer, which is the position he held until his retirement on January 4, 2020, after 35 .43 years of service .
Juanita Covalt
Juanita began working at the Board of Water and Light on March 19, 1990 as an Office Assistant in Inventory Corrections . In 1994, she moved to Customer Service as a Customer Service Representative 1 and moved up to CSR2 three years later . Her position moved to the Call Center in 1998, where she was promoted to CSR3 in 2001 . She spent thirteen years in that role . In 2014, Juanita moved to Field Services Support 3, which is the position she held until her retirement on March 14, 2020, after 29 .47 years of service .
