 Kathy Darr
Kathy began working at the BWL on September 22, 1989 as a Painter . After 21 years of painting, she became a Construction Planner for Central Maintenance in 2010 . In 2011, she became a Planner for Work Management, then worked up to Project Leader two years later . Between 2013 and her retirement, she has been Project Leader for Central Maintenance and for Work Management, which is the position from which she retires on February 29, 2020, after 30 .44 years of service .
Scott Honke
Scott began working at BWL on October 15, 2001 as a Maintenance Mechanic . He held that position for twelve years until he became a Boulevard Light Mechanic 1 in 2013 . Two years later, he was moved up to Boulevard Light Mechanic 3, and up again to the Boulevard Mechanic Leader in 2016 . He held that position until his retirement on January 4, 2020, after 18 .22 years of service .
Bill Jones
Bill began working part time at the BWL on May 3, 1979 as a Computer Operator . On March 3, 1980, his position became full time . In 1983, Bill was promoted to Lead Computer Operator, where he remained for two years before another promotion to Operations Supervisor . His position as Operations Supervisor went through a few different titles, including “System Production Supervisor” and “System Production & Voice Communication Supervisor” . In 2009, his position transferred to the Publication & Administration department . The following year took him to become the Supervisor of Publications, Administration, and Accounting . 2015 brought him to the position of Administration and Account Review Supervisor, which is the position he held until his retirement on January 4, 2020, after 39 .84 years of service .
Sherry Markey
Sherry began working at the BWL as an Office Specialist in Overhead Electric Construction on November 26, 2001 . A year later, she moved her work to Water Distribution . She became a Customer Service Rep for the Call Center in 2005 and moved up to CSR 3 two years later . After twelve years as a Customer Service Rep, she became a Utility Service Specialist in 2017, quickly moving up to USS4 by 2018 . This is the position from which she retires on February 1, 2020, after 18 .18 years of service .
Shawn McBryde
Shawn started at the Board in 1986 as an Operator D at Eckert Station and later that same year transferred to Ottawa Station as an Operator C . While at Ottawa, he also held the positions of Operator B and Operator A . He transferred back to Eckert in 1991 continuing as an Operator
A . In 1996, Shawn was promoted to a Senior Operator A at Eckert, which he then held for the next 12 years . In 2008, Shawn transferred to BESOC when he was promoted to a Transmission and Distribution Supervisor, which is the position he held until his retirement on January 4, 2020, after 35 .99 years of service .
