What is your name, job title and department?
My name is Cody Clark and I am a Primary Electric Meter Specialist, within the Electric Metering Department.
How long have you been with the BWL?
I have been with BWL for about 3.5 years.
What does a day on the job look like for you?
A day on the job is different every day. I could be setting 100 plus meters at an apartment building or wiring up a primary service. We have a lot of daily job tasks in my department. All I know is that I'm busy.
What’s the most challenging part about your job?
I think the most challenging part of my job is managing which order to do my jobs so that everyone is happy. I strive to make the customers happy throughout each day.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part about my job is helping customers with their electrical issues.
When you were younger, what did you want to do when you grow up?
When I was younger I thought
I would be an NBA basketball player but when I stopped growing, I knew that wouldn't be possible and I would have to come up with another career.
What’s something you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
One of my hobbies outside of work is going to the gym and lifting weights. I don't like doing much cardio.
What’s something most people may not know about you?
The thing most people don't know about me is that my brother and I have the same birthday, but four years apart.
What do you consider your greatest accomplishment or achievement?
I feel my greatest accomplishments in my life career wise has been getting my Journeyman Electrical License and also getting hired into BWL. I feel very fortunate to be in the position I am in.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
The greatest advice I was given from family is that you must work hard for what you want in life.
